Computers and the internet have brought people and cultures from all over the world closer together than ever before in human history. Filmmakers are no different. This compilation of films brings together LGBTQ+ filmmakers and their stories - all very different, but still very much the same: ALEEYA: Two Chinese filmmakers try to make a film about a transgender woman they met on the street, but things do not go as they expected. HAPPY EVER AFTER: Happy Ever After is a story of forbidden love in Japan when sparks fly between Paniz and Miyuki at a house party. Turns out, Paniz is a visiting English teacher at the same school where Miyuki is a transfer student. The film unfolds an emotional journey for the two women as the trials and tribulations of a modern unconventional love in a traditional society take their toll. I AM EVA: "I Am Eva" is a first-hand story of a person who identifies as gender neutral and looks into what it is like to exist other than male or female while living within a lack of legal gender recognition. The film explores the dimensions of human gender which go beyond a one-dimensional scale of male and female. KAPAENAHU: Kapaemahu reveals the healing power of four mysterious stones on Waikiki Beach – and the legendary transgender spirits within them. Long ago, four extraordinary individuals of both male and female spirit brought the healing arts from Tahiti to Hawaii. Beloved by the people for their gentle ways and miraculous cures, they imbued four giant boulders with their powers.  The stones still stand on what is now Waikiki Beach, but the true story behind them has been hidden – until now. RAINBOW CLINIC: In a closed private clinic, Shan is brought here by his mother for the Conversion Therapy. What is waiting for him is the cruel and dangerous treatment conducted by Doctor Chen. Deep pressure and despair from both physical torture and family issue arise in Shan’s heart. Gradually, his attitude towards who he really shifts from self-questioning to embracing his true sexuality. He finally decides to escape from this hell with the other boy at the clinic called Bill. Can they succeed? SALTY PLASTIC: A young woman has spent her entire life pleasing others and conforming to her religion. After an awakening experience, she jumps off the deep end and strives to find her own happiness and truth. THE COLOURS OF JOHAN: Jahan, a confident South Asian artist living in the west uses his promiscuous lifestyle via a gay dating app as source material for his upcoming homoerotic art exhibit. And between two hook ups he gets on an obligatory video call with his mother in India on a religious occasion that exposes the duality of his being, the two colors on the canvas of his life.
